You don't need a gps to kill your kid in a hot car. Those of us who live in hot desert regions know all too well that kids die in cars every summer because the parent decides not to wake them up and just leave them in their seats when they go into a store "for just a few minutes", or bring the packages into the house and forget the kid is still in the car.
