But to be honest this specimen is more similar to meteorwrong than to a
typical iron meteorite :)
so maybe someone from Univ. just look at it and say what he say's million
times before "its not meteorite, its a slag".
Just my feeling.

Many of you have had a similar experience. You take a sample into the
local
geology department and most times they don't have a clue or give you the
wrong answer. Most wouldn't know an iron meteorite from an iron
concretion.
It gets even worse with stones.
