Dear List Members, here are my new NWA iron - NWA 6716. It is a very interesting and double recrystallized IIE iron. All slices are sold very fast in the German Meteorite Forum. Now i have also cut the last piece. (the flat endcut) And so are for sale now the both last available pieces. The inside of the iron shows a coarse grained recrystallized matrix of heat in space. The fine recrystallized areas are a result of heat by fall on earth. A very fine and absolutely interesting iron! The both endcuts shows a very very thick reheated rim with more than 2cm !! Very interesting also are the very rare silicate inclusions.
