Hello,

I work with BACs a lot. I retrieve the BAC sequences from ensemble. I guess
you know which genomic region is in that BAC, a particular gene etc.. So I
search for that gene in ensemble, and then go to the "Region in detail",
then you have to make BAC clones visible on the map. To do this, on the left
side click "Configure this page", and then from the menu go to "external
data", and here you have to activate "BAC map". Then you go back to the map,
and the BAC clones in that region should be listed under the map, so you
select your clone and you can see which genomic region it corresponds, then
you can retrieve that genomic sequence.

Subject: BAC informations

Hi,

I am looking for map restriction and sequence details on a genomic mouse BAC
backbone, namely: RP24-304O8
Nothing is available on the clone registry from NCBI and corresponding
weblinks.

If someone can help me to find these informations...

Thanks for your help,

Laure
