Are there alternatives to ship RNA on dry ice, like using a formulation titled RNAlater (http://ccoon.myweb.usf.edu/ecoimmunology.org/RNAlater_recipe.html). Does that stuff work in reality? I'd like to ship an animal blood (or leukocyte) sample in order to isolate mRNA myself. Is that likely to work?
