Hi Iain, All the observations that are both in the observation file (http://documentation.wikia.com/wiki/Input_observation_%28METRo%29#Observations) and the atmospheric forecast file (http://documentation.wikia.com/wiki/Input_forecast_%28METRo%29#Forecast) are combine. The fields are: *Air temperature; *Dew point *Wind speed; *Quantity of precipitation If you feel in shape, you can have a look in the code: http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/metro/metro/trunk/src/frontend/executable_module/metro_preprocess_combine.py?rev=133&view=markup Look for the method with "__combine" Miguel -- Miguel Tremblay Physicien - Physicist Centre météorologique canadien - Canadian meteorological centre (CMC) Environnement Canada - Environment Canada http://www.ec.gc.ca/ 2121 Trans-Canada N.
