That sounds interesting. I also have measurements of temperature at various
depths, so I would like to test the ground model. Do you have a version of the
model I can try where this feature is included?

that is found in the output (the element).
I have written a page on the wiki about how METRo compute the depth of
the levels in the model. The page is here:

I have put in attachment how the file would look like. The sub surface
temperature of levels have too many decimal numbers, the final output
would not be like that but with two digits after the dot. The writing of
the sub surface levels temperature will be optional, the flag "--levels"
will be used to indicate that the user wants these number in the roadcast.
Back compatibility could be an issue. If you have any software using the
METRo roadcast and you think that you can use this feature in the
future, I would suggest that you try the xml file in attachment to see
how the software reacts.
If you have any proposition or comments regarding this issue, please do
so. Otherwise we will go on and implement it as it is documented right now.
