Hey Radomir, per https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/mezzanine-users/HOST_THEMES$20extends/mezzanine-users/ZGVPCh087Nc/-nlKiulcesQJ, the HOST_THEMES settings and associated middleware doesn't work on templates that are extended from. I.e. if you're view requests index.html that will respect the HOST_THEMES settings, but anything extended by index.html will not.
You should really take a look at the template loader that I've mentioned to you elsewhere. Good luck!
