Hello I have some limited experience with Django and I'd like to move a VERY busy Drupal 6 social site to Django. The main reason is to enjoy more flexibility, better performance. I am sick of convulted design of Drupal which saves everything into hyper-normalized database and needs heck load of work to bring some performance into it. I have recently knew Mezzanine and found it very interesting both as a superb Django project and as a great help to avoid re-inventing the cms wheel. However here are my questions:
- Is there any Migration tool/code, similar to Wordpress>Mezzanine for Drupal? If not, what migration route do you suggest? - How serious the C10K problem is treated in Mezzanine design? - How tight Mezzanine is coupled into Django? I mean, do all stand-alone django apps work in mezzanine? - What is the most mature Djagno forum app that you suggest to use along with Mezzaning?
