PayPal has a relatively new service that seems pretty ideal for a small e-commerce site. Advanced provides you a checkout form that is embedded within your checkout page. I would like to use it, or even better contribute the functionality to use it back to Cartridge, but am not sure of the best way to structure things.
Once you have collected your info (shopping cart, price, user name and address) you submit that to Paypal to get back the form with a security token. This means that the integration actually happens a step earlier than the existing checkout process. Instead of processing the info when the user hits "submit" we have to process it before they get to that page. I am thinking the best way would be to change the view that provides the final checkout page, but am not sure if there is a best practices way for tying this to a setting that users can select? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mezzanine Users" group.
