(Original thread: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mezzanine-users/bIxUJkOIdUM)
I created a new thread to reflect the recent direction, and to solicit opinions of those interested. *Objective:* Support limiting page moves dynamically, the same way can_add(), can_change(), and can_delete() work (see Mezzanine Page Permissions <http://mezzanine.jupo.org/docs/content-architecture.html#page-permissions> ). *The Issue:* The issue to be settled is that for page move permissions to be complete, they should also apply to page creation: a newly created page should not violate page move permissions. The problem is: during page creation, the user specifies the page location well before the page is created. By the time it is created and the permission evaluated, there is no obvious way to determine where the page should land should it fail the page move permission. *Options:* 1. Page move permissions should *NOT* be checked during page creation. 2. If they should be checked, then how? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mezzanine Users" group.
