Hello,

I am moving my static html site (generated by the excellent Pelican static
site generator) to Mezzanine. So I am used to get non-accented slugs
automatically generated from accented page titles (in portuguese
language). For example, if the page title is "Maçã" (apple), the generated
slug becames "/maca/" in Pelican. But in Mezzanine, the auto-generated slug
will be "/maçã/".

Do you believe this will bring any kind of problem to me? Maybe with old
browsers, or search engines, or something else?

I feel a bit uncomfortable with this because everywhere I see accented
letters converted to non-accented on slugs. it´s practically universal on
the web.

Besides, all whitespaces on my previous site slugs were converted to
underlines ("_") and in Mezzanine they are converted to dashes ("-"). I
already found the redirects on mezzanine admin, and I will have to use
redirects on every page (migrated from the old site) for changing "_" to
"-", and to remove the ".html", anyway.

Thank you and Happy New Year,

Márcio
