Hi,

My admin site include some custom views as explained in 
http://mezzanine.jupo.org/docs/admin-customization.html#custom-items

The problem is that now I am adding support for different groups of staff 
users (User.is_staff).
For AdminModel I can control which items show up in the menu by setting 
permissions to each group like, "Can  change".
But it doesnt seem to have a way to control this for custom admin items...

Any ideas? If not I would be willing to work on a patch to implement this,
any pointers on how this should be implemented?
