I can't speak for everyone, but I only reply when I know more than the OP about how to solve their problem than they do. If nobody replies it's likely because nobody following the mailing list has done this.
If you don't know where to get started, look into how mezzanine's listing order works currently. You may need to override the blog listing view and modify the query in order to customize the ordering.
