Depend on your private fork of Cartridge, and updating should be as simple as merging upstream changes when they do infrequently occur. For the small price to pay of needing some way to keep on top of those changes, and the manual task of having to resolve conflicts should they occur, you gain unlimited ability to customize. > That's a real concern if there's a security issue.
