1960 John F. Kennedy Narrowly Elected President

In one of the closest presidential elections in U.S. history,
Senator John F. Kennedy, a Democrat from Massachusetts, wins
49.7-percent of the popular vote, surpassing by a fraction
the 49.6-percent received by Vice President Richard M. Nixon,
a Republican. Kennedy, the youngest candidate ever elected
to the presidency, is also the first Catholic to be elected.

_____ gossip: outlook 2000 ________________________________

I decided to migrate from calypso e-mail to Outlook 2000
for a few reasons. I searched for a good Outlook 2000
support mail list but gave up, so I started my own.
If you are a Outlook novice with questions or an Outlook
master with answers, I am sure we can all learn something
on this list.

_____ gossip: so close, but yet so far ____________________

Two way satellite dish access to the internet is here... with
strings attached. Starband has announced that they now offer
a dish for home use that not only receives an internet feed, but
transmits - both high speed. RADIO SHACK is a distributor, but
they will only sell it to you IF you buy a new computer with it
AND a MSN internet account. They are taking "pre-orders" and
once business slows down they will offer the dishes without
the mandated computer purchase.
