Claude, 2D should work fine for pocketing, make sure your islands are chained (contiguous and going the same direction) elements and on the same work plane. And also turn OFF the "PROFILE TOP" of the grouped islands (bug I'm sure) and make sure the Avoid Grouped Islands box in the pocket parameters box is Xed on. Marty
