Good point, but try explaining that to SDRC or any of the other big Cad/Cam
outfits.  Even if you do get electronic data from IGES or whatever, it is
inevitable that the designer left off something and now management is in a
state of panic.  Meanwhile, guess who gets to fix the problem found by that
moldmaker with 30 years experience?  Isn't it amazing what can be done with
a piece of paper soaked in dykem after having pencil sketches and dimensions
all over it?
