how square do you need the corners? I just did a bunch of mdf 2 pass, and 4 pass doors as well as 5 piece solid oak doors thurs and friday on our KOMO at our open house. if you want a true square corner you need to use seperate pieces for the sides, our 4 pass mdf doors use about an 1/8" in the corners but the thermolam can't go that small anyway.

Yes, we use SmartCAM in conjunction with Building Blocks Inc. software "Panel Front" and "Nesting LT." I've been given the task of making our company more than 2,000,000 in the next two years with a square inside corner style of raised panel door. We're using 5/8 MDF doors cut out of a 61x61 sheet, melamine one side. Later it gets sprayed with a vinyl glue and is put in a thermolaminator. At this time, I create code for 3 routers, and the company is looking at another two head Northwood router with eight tool EuroSpindle changers. Unfortunately, B.B.I. is implementing it's own CAD style program with its next release. It's supposed to be similar to SmartCAM; however, I have my doubts. I just recently got R14 of AutoCAD on my home PC and have been trying to puzzle it out. Amazingly, all these CAM/CAD soft wares have a striking similarity to DCK and WADEd. I used to make Doom levels once upon a time when I had no responsibility. Heh.
