Is this Tape to Shape an tts.exe that you can
download from http://www.microsystemsgeorgia.com/smartcamguys.htm
website?
If it is, then it is not a
macro. It is the Tape to Shape that our company purchased with SmartCAM V4.5
back in 1989 and it interprets ascii code into a .sh2 shape file which can read
into any version of SmartCAM. It works great as long as your code is part shape.
If it is center path of the cutter then you'll have to offset the geometry by
the cutter radius. We use it at work to convert coded files for our AGIE wire
machines that were created using Compact. In fact the opportunity arose today to
convert a coded file from our Mazak milling center into SmartCAM to verify what
was being profiled matched the die plate geometry that we wire cut.
Anyways, if it is let me know and I can give some help with it
. Bye.
