Better yet, seeing as they don't want to support Smartcam and consider all
of us to be one step above parasites I propose this: just give a lifetime
license to anybody who was using Smartcam and had an active maintenance
agreement when SDRC took over Camax.  The license could be hard coded onto a
CD-ROM that needs to be in the drive when Smartcam starts.  I don't know why
they are still worried about illegal copies.  After all, Smartcam is a
little two bit cam package that can never compete with IDEAS or anything
else for that matter.  Nobody could possibly want such a weak cam package.
Right?
