Mark,

Clipart that is included with corel draw is still in it's vector form.  Just
'view wireframe'.  Unfortunately the way clipart is contructed makes it a
very bad choice for any kind of cnc or engraving work.  When you view the
wireframe you will see lots of overlapping, faceted shapes.  So it is
actually preferable to trace the raster through a 'raster to vector'
program.  Corel-Trace is the worst raster to vector program I've ever used.
Several of the top end sign making software packages have excellent 'raster
to vector' modules that create smooth and clean traces.

Otherwise use coreltrace to generate a dxf and hand trace with splines.
