George, To increase the speed of a "SHOW CUT", you can:
decrease the screen size of the part; decrease the length of the cutter; group all the polylines to be shown and run "grthin.mcl" to decrease the number of internal points in each polyline; decrease the transparency settings for the tool, blank and fixtures; optimize the show cut for "Speed"; make sure that you are using the optimum setting for hardware acceleration on your video card. I'm sure there are others, also. Some video cards seem to work faster than others. I'm getting good results with a Rage Fury Pro 32M card and a Number 9 32M card. Both are very reasonably priced. > I am running FFM V11.5 I would like to increase the speed of my showcut on a > surfacing operation without zooming out of the window.
