Paul, Create your closed profile along one edge of the seal surface. Transform, Move the last element in the profile the groove spacing distance. Modify the next-to-last element to reconnect the last element to the profile . Then use Geometry, Wall Offset to create multiple offsets at the groove spacing.
If your input settings are right, you'll end up with a continuous phono groove. If not, you can group and chain the elements to get the phono groove.
