I'm using a Dell laptop PII 14.2" viewable 128 ram and it works fine for Smartcam,solid works and most anything else I need to run. I prefer to be docked at work so I can use my larger monitor but the laptop is great at home and on the go. Greg
PS The company has switched from Gateway's to Dell's.
