[mfg-smartcam] Splines

Hello all,   I am new to this and am having trouble with offsetting planar splines.    It seems that generated offset splines are only point to point data instead of best fit radii. In order to get a good surface, a very long point to point program must be created also resulting in a surface with visible facets. Does this software best fit with arcs in the output code?   Thank you.   Vaughan
