I have looked high and low for a replacement, I have not found one. I tried Gibbs on a 30 day trial. If you like to draw in smartcam, no package will measure up. NO package has pick and filter options for ease of drawing like smartcam, especially gibbs. The local guy in town that uses Gibbs hates the way it draws, but likes its toolpath creation. I've tried gibbs, Esprit, Camworks, mastercam. They won't draw worth a damn and you have to lay down toolpath instead of creating it directly. If you're doing mold work this may be ok though. Esprit 2000+ is looking better with it's feature recognition but is still sucks on the drawing side. The guys at Point were way ahead of the game when they setup Smartcam to be able to get X,Y, and Z values from picking the element, nobody else does this. bob
