I agree with Dave, Ultra edit is good, but with one flaw. Can't renumber
the file!! (N1,N2,N3, etc...)
But thats ok, I use Editplus for that.
And it seems to me that for find and replace, you could use MS Word or word
perfect or anything like that.

I have been using UltraEdit for years and love it. For $30, you can't go
wrong.
you can create custom dictionaries for syntax highlighting for macros and
code
generators. It comes with some for VB, C++, DP Esprit post words etc.

Hello all, Does anyone know of a good NC type text editor besides Edit +. I
have
a problem with my post (Intercim G-Post). It's outputting the B-Axis pos on
the
drill cycle line of my code and there are no provisions in G-Post to turn
this
off.
My program is a 4-axis pos and drilling program that is about 4000 lines
long
with 27 tools which are mostly g81 and g83.
I would like to tell the text editor to go find all lines with g81 and g83
and
remove the Bx.xxx values. My source code is APT coming from Catia so it's
not
real easy to change the source. Intercim uses an extension to their Post
called
a FIL file to filter out crap that you don't like but that's also not real
easy
to construct. Thanks in advance !
