I agree with Dave, Ultra edit is good, but with one flaw. Can't renumber the file!! (N1,N2,N3, etc...) But thats ok, I use Editplus for that. And it seems to me that for find and replace, you could use MS Word or word perfect or anything like that. Rick

I would like to tell the text editor to go find all lines with g81 and g83 and remove the Bx.xxx values. My source code is APT coming from Catia so it's not real easy to change the source.
