You have 3 options. option 1: IGES from a  model file (*.sldprt); options
2&3: DXF or DWG from a drawing file (*.slddrw).  My personal preference is
IGES from the model file. This will give you all of the wire frame geometry
as well as the sketch geometry that was used for the creation of the model
as long as the person exporting the model checks the "export sketch
entities" box on the options button in SW. You also have the option of
getting surfaces or 3D curves or both in a single file. There is also an
ACIS (*.sat) option, but this will only give you surfaces, no wireframe.

I can send you a screen shot of the options dialog for IGES if you like.
