Alan,
We use Muti-DNC. It allows an operator at the machine to call out any nc
program he needs, without anybody's assistance. He just sends in a small
program from the control, ( requesting a specific nc program ), to the pc
in the office. Then sets up the control to receive the program. Within a few
seconds the pc from the office sends out the requested program. We use it
for Fanuc controllers. But they have a list of several different controllers
that they can communicate with. Check them out at....

I believe they have a demo available also.
I had a little trouble when I upgraded computers. With the help of the free
technical support, and from this forum, I got that solved. Thanks to all
that replied from this very informative forum.
