Thank you Matt, and to the rest of you who helped out. Sorry about the delay
in my reply, I've been away.

Also I forgot to mention, how do I get my smf and tmp file to turn on the
coolant when requested by the tool data? I see the coolant commands in my
tmp file M51 and M8 but it does not output them in the code.

Thanks, Anthony

Here's a modified copy of your .tmp I removed the G56 from FXD1-FXD5. Added
<#DCOMP> in the @ENDPROF section to remove cutter comp. I think I got the
spaces fixed. You had spaces preceeding most words, changing them to follow
the words works better.
I hope it helps,

Matt

Hi all,

I have enclosed our smf and tmp files for our Okuma MX45 machining center.I
am not quite up with the play with getting it to output the correct code.
Firstly it leaves a blank space at the start of most lines. The spaces
between all of the code is ok though, we like that but not at the start of
the line.
Next it to puts a G56 before a G81 on the same line when its already called
a G56
up after the toolchange to set the tool length.
Thirdly it calls up G41 D8 for turning on tool radius comp (tool 8), which
is fine, but it won't turn it off until its finished the last profile. I
need it to turn on and off at the start and finish of each profile.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
