I think I've solved the problem, stupid me.

I was originally importing from within Smartcam, ie. File>import. I tried
using Camcon instead and it seems to work fine. Hopefully this is the
answer to my problem.

Thanks to all who offered suggestions!

Grant.

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] Mechanical Desktop files to Freeform 11.1

I'm sure this has already been answered before, sorry if this is a repeat.

When I create a part in Desktop (3.0) I normally explode the part and then
"igesout" to export an iges file. I then import the part into FFM. 9 times
out of 10 I end up losing a surface or two. Is this something anyone else
has a problem with? Does anyone have a solution they can suggest?

Thanks in advance.
Grant.
