Pro/Mfg is a very rich cam software which blends in well with a Pro/E software. It offers an unprecedented arena for programming multiple files on same platform (window) yet giving individual and separate postings and even set-up sheets whether milling or turning respectively. For example Milling Jobs A, B, C and Mill Turn Jobs G, H, E can be programmed at the same time on same platform, utilizing common tooling information, even on different planes and layers. It is an engineering wonder. The disadvantage ? It requires in depth learning process. After a while you will start to appreciate its superiority over all other cam softwares . I have used both Smartcam, Mastercam, Edgecam and Espirit. None of them comes close its superiority. But then you have to face the learning challenges. Larry, Mfg Eng, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
