All, This is what I can do....@TOOLCHG(#S0=DROP IS 1.234)(#U12=1), the string is output and #U12 is successfully set to 1. This is what I can't do but want to....#S0=DROP IS 1.234 #U12=1 In the second example the string variable is set but the integer variable is not. What is output is DROP IS 1.234 0=1 (#U12 is equal to zero prior to this). Is this just a syntax error?
