We started with v11 so I have no experiance with v10 but I suspect that there may be a solution in making sure clearance is off on the hole elements. Also if the problem is with the .1 check distance you can change that by putting a user command #CHKD=.03 before the hole elemants. I'm sure you can get the correct output from v11.5 but then v10 may have a problem. Good Luck.

When we post the same code through the same code generator, the v10 puts out correct code and the v11.5 does not. Specifically, we are programming a lathe with live tooling. The live head is rotated at 90 degrees so it cuts parallel to the Z axis. We are using the head to drill in to the face and make a bolt circle. The tool rapids to the proper X location then to a Z clearance then cuts along a line to depth then rapids out of the hole finally the c axis (spindle) rotates to the next hole location. We do not want to use the drill cycles because we often have to put holes in faces where there is only .03 Z clearance or less to get the head into location and need to control every aspect of the movement to avoid a crash. Everything on v10 works fine but v11.5 leaves out one important detail, it rapids to the clearance point, enters the start profile section of the Code Generator and feeds to the start of the line it ignores the line section in the Code Generator altogether and simply rapids back to the clearance point. Has anyone seen this errant behavior between the two revisions? We have tried every setting for question 443 in the SMF file and nothing seems to work. Looks like we are going to have to roll back to V10.
