You might also want to check out Kitamura machines. Some of the fastest box way/ball screw machines on the planet; 1969 ipm - that's 50m/min. They feature specially configured Fanuc controls which offer some thing called "A1 High-Speed Contour Control". They also offer Yasnac controls.
