I have been on my own for 6 months now, the Akira seiki mill is running great. I am now looking into a lathe. A lot of hose fittings and fittings with barbs. some bigger stuff too, 3.750" dia. all parts are aluminum. I am wondering the merrits of twin turrets -vs- single turret w/ twin spindles. Also makes and model suggestions too. I am looking at Mori sl 253 tomorrow. If you are looking for a Haas/ Fadal class machine but much better let me know. I will give my thoughts on the mill. been cutting lots af alum and steel too.
