Steve,
In the dialog box change to the format you want and then go
to the file pulldown and select keep defaults. This will store the settings you
want, this also works for many other features of SmartCam

Good morning, this
is an issue that has been bothering me for sometime and there may have been
some discussion in the past on I t so if it is redundant I apologize. In the
smart cam import box for importing iges, dxf and so fourth is there any way to
get the file types to stay on what you select? For example I have imported a
.dxf file and then I want to import and .igs file however when I select iges
for the type and then click in the from file which still has the last .dxf
import it changes the file type back to .dxf and then you have to manually
select all files to see any other extension to finally change to the .igs.
Nothing I can't really deal with just thought I would get some input.
