Matt,
Heres what I do to get a Mechanical Desktop Model into SmartCam as an .sat
file.
need to be sure the model is a solid...to accomplish this I explode it
twice.
on the AutoCad command line type: acisoutver : it will come back
with <0>
type in; 17 ;this sets the acis kernel to ver 1.7 which smartcam
seems to like...;-)
then export as an .sat
open a new Smartcam model...import your .sat file
