Marty,

I have the CG that you need.  As the Bridgeport Code is very bastardized from normal Fanuc standard, I had to do a lot of tweaking to get clean code.  I will forward you the CG tomorrow (Monday)

I would recommend finding a programming manual.  There are lots of 'rules' that will force you to change your methods of programming for this machine.  Most of them pertain to turning cutter comp on and off.  Most notably, you must have (3) lines of 'moves' in between your G41 and G40, forcing you to build extra 'bogus' geometry in Smartcam.  I have built some null moves into the CG to covert part of this.

If you have other controls, you must keep your SmartCAM data clean, because you DON'T want to have to manually convert BP code to another machine or vice-versa.

Look for my post tomorrow...

Hi Good SmartCam people,

I'm trying to program a control for which I have no programming
manual, it's a Vertical Bridgeport machine 1999 vintage about
the size of a small FADAL (VMC40) with a DX32 PC based control,
the operators manual says it has all the functions and then
some of a Boss 9 or Boss 10 control.

I tried the Boss 8 & 9 CG's on the SmartCam V11.5 CD but I keep
getting a #4parser error and if I don't get that It gets a no
feed error even though there is a F20.0 right on the block it's
complaining about.

Does anybody have a Code Generator they can send me that may
cure my woes? Or can you point me in the right direction to
find or make one?

Also what Does a G75 command do on this control it seems to
be a common theme in the SmartCAM Boss CG'S.

Thank you for your time!
