Hi all,
As long as we are on this discussion, I need some help with Windows 2000 Professional. Right now my file type "open" line reads this: "c:\sm9\system\pmill.exe %1"
I can open a .pm4 file via Windows Explorer except for the following two conditions (as far as I know):
(1) If the file name is longer than (8) characters, error 2561 "This file is
not found" occurs, even though the path and file name shown in the error box
is correct.
(2) If the folder the .pm4 file is contained in has a space in it.
Ex: folder name = T-20356 J
Under this condition, I get the same error. The path shown in the error box
shows that its looking for a file named with the characters before the space
in the folder name, even though the file name is completely different.
Ex: File name = Det4.pm4; error box shows: ...correct path...\T-20356.pm4
Any ideas?
