It's sort of a standard here in Canada. By that I mean if you happen to work for an American based company like we do, its inches.
When I do part time work for a small job shop and the prints are European, its metric with England being the exception. By the way, WATCH OUT FOR EUROPEAN PROJECTION prints! Some shops around here have their CNC equipment setup in metric which makes for fun times if you're an inch thinker like I am. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2003 4:56 AM To: SmartCam Forum Subject: Re: [mfg-smartcam]Cad to Cam Metric is standard for the rest of the world!
