If I understand you correctly, you want a blank space to show up in your program?
  If so, you must have a blank space followed with 2 slashes in your tmp file at the point of where you want the blank space.

  See example below.

( #matl )
( #DATE #name )

just do a carriage return in your @TOOLCHG

This should leave a blank line after the (MSG,)

In your job file go through all your steps and edit process step Doff put
this in the box       JOS(tl_num)+16
