I'm using Ultra Edit by IDM Computer Solutions http://www.ultraedit.com
Free to try, $35 to buy. It is not designed as CNC code editor It has many features that I use for CNC and other files. http://www.ultraedit.com/products/features.html#key The best part is I only need one editor for CNC, ASCII, HEX, HTML, TCL, etc... The only features it lacks compared to Edit Plus would be block renumbering and number reformatting. The software has macro capabilities so it may be possible to add these. ================================================== Fred Lauzus, CAM Programming Coordinator High Steel Structures, Incorporated mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.highsteel.com ================================================== -----Original Message----- From: Dave Wolfgang [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 04, 2003 8:56 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [mfg-smartcam] Edit Plus-Search It is very hard to steer away from something you have used for years and start learning something new. What editor are you using Fred.
