I have a Wish for consideration. After seeing the PMill/Cimblock Nesting capabilities at some of my cabinet door customer's work places, could 2D nesting ever be implemented or built as an add on for the many, many 2D router applications out there today. 2D Nesting would also be a huge boom for sheet metal burning. I know this capability was in some of the Cimblock apps, any chance that it may be found packed away in a box somewhere and could legally be made available as an add on or something?
2D Nesting could be used for roughing out blanks for 3D mold inserts as well and optimize material. With economics like they are today, every dollar saved is a dollar earned. Nesting is a huge cost saver.
