Kill works great. The macro is as follows:
kill ctfmon.exe
cd C:\SM9\SYSTEM
C:\SM9\SYSTEM\amill.exe

Have you tried the kill.exe utility? I can't test it
because I don't have W2K, but here's what I found after a quick search......

CTFMON and Win2k
Has anyone been successful in
disabling ctfmon.exe using a *.bat file in a WIN2K? When I try to execute the
same batch file we use to disable ctfmon.exe on our WinXP machines I get an
error saying "taskkill not recognized as an internal or external, operable
program or batch file". Any working solutions out there?
Here is the batch file:
taskkill /im ctfmon*
cd C:\SM9\SYSTEM
C:\SM9\SYSTEM\amill.exe
