Well, The time has finally come to bid farewell to the current mfg-smartcam list server. UGSPLM will be retiring it on Saturday the 15th of May. We are currently in the process of setting up a new list. Hopefully everything will transfer with a minimum of trouble, but please be patient if we experience some problems.
The new list will tentatively be addressed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] You WILL NOT need to subscribe to the new list. We will just transfer the subscriber list over. Once we get going, if you have problems communicating to the new list or you feel you've been dropped from the list by mistake you can send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The new list is going to be a fairly basic list from a vendor who uses Mailman, a free mailing list manager, so that we can keep the costs down for now. Fees for membership in the new list will be: Mike Fair - $1 (no personal checks) Everyone else - Free Once we get the new list established and things seem to be working OK, we will post a message requesting that everyone send us an email confirming their membership and identifying their company or organizational affiliation and reason for being on the list. Please note that we reserve the right to exclude competitors, evil twins and other "representatives of the dark side" from the list.
