Yes, mHonarc does run on the mac, as I've installed it and used it to manually archive large mail folders for other use. There's a GUI front-end plus the executable available here: <http://liepins.org/en/mac/macmhonarc/> This is entirely self-contained, so no other downloads need to be done. You can also install MHonarc as a standard command-line tool, since OS X supports Perl just fine.
