Yep. Technically, each month is a separate MHonArc archive. The mhonarc.org archives (i.e. the mharc package) provides a work-around by leveraging Namazu. At the end of each message body, you will see the link '[More with this subject...]'. This executes a search for messages with the same subject for the entire list archive so month boundaries are no longer a problem. It is far from perfect, but it is better than nothing. > Is there any way of making MHonArc look in several .mhonarc.db > -files to get threading across month boundaries work? No. This is a known limitation, and one of the artifacts of MHonArc's initial Perl 4 heritage. To do it correctly would require a rewrite of MHonArc. I have thought of some possible hacks for the existing code base, but I do not know if it is worth the effort. > multi-month-threading support would be nice to have. Yes it would. --ewh --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE MHONARC-USERS
