We are thinking of something like this

set up a table that maps indexes to the members email
1 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
2 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
3 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
...

replace all the addresses with a "mailing list" address
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
...

when someone replies to [EMAIL PROTECTED] the email address is looked up and replaced with [EMAIL PROTECTED] IF the sender is also a member of the list.



Prevents harvesting.
Members do not have to do anything.
but
Causes a LOT of email to go to "list.com"
Does not cope with a list member using an email account not subscribed

and would require setting it all up.
